The web site hosts a Free Management Library of online articles covering 675 topics. Voted “Best Nonprofit Management Web-site,” this is a GREAT place to start looking for information.
 
Chronicle of Philanthropy Online - The Chronicle of Philanthropy, published biweekly, is "the No. 1 news source for charity leaders, fund raisers, grant makers, and other people involved in the philanthropic enterprise." The website features content from current and past issues, job postings, and an Internet Resources section describing other websites and electronic discussion lists of interest.
 
The Foundation Center - The Foundation Center works "to foster public understanding of the foundation field by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information on foundations, corporate giving, and related subjects." A good resource for those seeking grants, the web site includes an online library, searchable database and links to more than 1,500 foundation web sites.
 
Independent Sector - Independent Sector is "a coalition of leading nonprofits, foundations, and corporations strengthening not-for-profit initiative, philanthropy, and citizen action." The web site contains many useful documents related to nonprofit administration and governance.
 
Jossey-Bass Publishers - Jossey-Bass publishes "books, training materials, periodicals, and other media for people interested in developing themselves, their communities and their organization." The Nonprofit Organizations category boasts nearly 500 titles, including more than 50 books about Board Development.
 
BoardSource - BoardSource (formerly the National Center for Nonprofit Boards) offers services and publications to strengthen boards in a variety of areas. Services include workshops, customized governance consulting, and an information clearinghouse. BoardSource publications are frequently recommended by PEJE.

Idealist.org (Action Without Borders) – Site has numerous articles about nonprofit administration and directories of consultants, organizations, volunteer opportunities, jobs and other information.
 
National Council of Nonprofit Associations – Contains very good sample documents, as well as articles about nonprofit Human Resource management (sample forms, job descriptions, etc.), financial accountability and operations.
 
Nonprofit About.com – This section of About.com has articles about How to Write a Mission Statement, financial management, fundraising, board development and other topics pertaining to nonprofit administration.
 
Arts Consulting.com – This nonprofit arts consulting firm features “Arts Insights” newsletter. Despite their programmatic emphasis on the arts, the articles are very applicable to nonprofit management, especially for mid-sized to larger organizations.
